Formed in 2010. Lodent Precision International is a daughter company of Lodent Precision Limited. Lodent Precision International was formed at the request of several of Lodent Precision’s customers who wanted to purchase quality tooling which is produced outside the UK, reflecting the lower manufacturing costs of Asian companies.
Partners have been sourced in several low cost Asian countries. LPI are responsible for supplying Tool designs, specifications and timing plans for customer approval.
Upon approval the designs, parts and material specifications are submitted to our chosen partner, our partner will then manufacture the tools, trial the tools at their premises, produce off tool samples and supply inspection reports confirming that the tools are producing parts to our customer drawing.
Throughout the manufacture of the tools, UK Engineers representing LPI travel to our partner to inspect the progress of the tools and offer technical support. During Tool manufacture our partner updates the Timing Plan and provides photographs of the work completed weekly, the reports and photographs are forwarded to our Customer.
Upon completion of the tool, “off tool” samples and inspection reports are sent to LPI here in the UK, Lodent Precision Limited then inspects the samples, upon successful inspection, the tools are then shipped to the UK, professionally packed and Insured.
After Customs clearance and delivery to Lodent Precision, the Tools are then loaded to a Try out press at Lodent Precision Limited and the samples produced again, the parts are inspected to produce CNC Inspection reports verifying the parts against original CAD data. Upon successful inspection and customer acceptance the tools are then supplied for ready for Production.
