Our senior management team comprises of three people, all of whom are Directors.
Paul Riley. :– paul@lodent.co.uk
Responsibilities:- Press Tool Operation, Technical and Customer support, order planning and progression to achieve agreed customer delivery schedules and pass off dates. Paul has a wealth of knowledge and is well respected within the UK Metal Pressing Industry.
Jeff Bates. :- jeff@lodent.co.uk
Responsibilities :- Mould Tool Operation. Quality / Standards management and working with our external auditors regarding ISO 2001 to maintain our accreditations. Jeff is a “Time served” apprentice in Tool making with a sound knowledge of Mould and Die Cast Tool making.
Ron Thorne. :- ron@lodent.co.uk
Responsibilities :- Design and Precision machining operation. Liaising with customers, planning, through to customer acceptance. Ron is again a “time served” apprentice and has worked in the Tool making industry for more than 40 years. Ron’s knowledge is second to none, he is often used in a technical support function for many machining aspects.
With their combined experience and knowledge the management team works well. Each Director has a defined role within the company and the knowledge of working “hands on” on the shop floor with the toolmakers is a definite bonus.
At Lodent we only employ time served apprentices, maybe we are lucky in this day and age, maybe it’s because we are situated in a traditional tool making area or maybe it’s because we train our own apprentices. We all work as a team and support each other and ultimately our customers. Testament to our success is our increasing employee numbers and also our increasing customer base.
